  • I grew up active, skateboarding, playing ice hockey, always outside, but I also really loved to eat. No matter how much I moved, I carried extra weight. When my hockey career ended and I shifted into musical theater, the weight climbed fast. I was focused on building my career, not my body, until an industry professional bluntly told me, “You have a beautiful gift, but no one will see it until you lose 30 to 40 pounds.” It hurt, but it lit a fire. I had no idea what I was doing, but I committed to eating less, moving more, and taking control of my health. Three months later, I was 35 pounds lighter and feeling better than ever.

That transformation changed everything. I became obsessed, in a good way, with understanding not just weight loss but body composition, health, and performance. I read books, took courses, invested in coaches, studied sports science, spoke with experts, and applied what I learned to my own training and nutrition. The more I grew, the more I realized how much I loved helping others. Improving my health didn’t just change my body; it changed my confidence, my career, and how I showed up in every part of my life.

Over the past decade, I’ve built a successful career in musical theater—Broadway tours, international tours, concerts, regional shows, cruise ships, commercials, film, and TV. I’ve traveled to over 70 countries, coached more than 300 people, and even earned my PNBA Professional Classic Physique status. But the thing I’m most proud of? Helping actors and performers transform their lives the same way I transformed mine. If you’re ready to take control of your body, your confidence, and your future, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

  • I began dancing and singing before I could even walk and talk, which immersed me in the theatre scene and community from a very young age. I eventually went to pursue my undergraduate degree in musical theatre at Temple University, and quickly saw all the unhealthy ways many of my peers (and mentors) were achieving their idea of how a musical theatre performer “should” look. This ultimately left them weak, malnourished, and unable to perform to their highest capability. I began immersing myself in fitness and nutrition, learning everything I could to find the healthiest ways to feel and look my best. During the pandemic, I went back to school to earn my Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition Education with the goal of helping other performers learn how to fuel their bodies effectively for screen and stage.

My fitness and nutrition career spans over a decade, having trained celebrities and working moms alike. It is one of my greatest passions to help women feel confident in their bodies and build an intrinsic trust in what they are truly capable of. I am also a trainer for Obe fitness, a virtual streaming platform where she films on demand fitness classes ranging from sculpt, trampoline cardio, strength, and dance cardio. I believe that there is no “one size fits all” mentality when it comes to fitness and nutrition, and every client deserves their own roadmap to success. My coaching style combines science with empathy, knowing that fitness journeys’ are rarely linear. I believe in working out FOR your body, not TO your body. I also believe that food is fuel for your body, and balance is the key to success. Performers are athletes; it is no small feat to effectively fuel your body for an eight-show week or a long day on set! Aside from performing, helping others feel incredible in their body is the most rewarding work I’ve ever had the opportunity to do.

When I’m not working in theatre or fitness, I love to take long walks in central park with my dog, Lacy, find the best happy hours on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and spend time with my family and friends!

  • I’ve always loved working out—but I didn’t always understand fitness.
I grew up playing soccer and lacrosse, running on natural athleticism, not programming. It wasn’t until the summer after high school, when one of my best friends brought home a college lacrosse strength program, that I first discovered the power of the weight room. We hit those sessions every week—and I remember one of my coaches saying, “You went from a Medium to a Large this summer!” I was hooked.
But it wasn’t until years later—standing shirtless under stage lights in a demanding musical—that I realized I had more to learn. I was training hard: lifting, doing cardio between matinees and evening shows. I thought I was in great shape—until I took a friend’s circuit-style HIIT class and got absolutely wrecked. It was humbling. That class led me to CrossFit, and CrossFit cracked me wide open. The gymnastics. The Olympic lifting. The focus on mobility and function. I was strong… but not fit. That began a six-year journey of redefining what fitness meant to me.
As an actor, I’ve wrestled with body image and performance pressure. I’ve been the guy who dreaded casual runs with friends because I knew I’d be sore for days. I’ve trained for aesthetics and still felt insecure. But everything changed when I stopped chasing a certain look and started chasing capacity. When I trained to do hard things—marathons, Ironman 70.3, long swims, heavy lifts—my body responded with strength and confidence. And I began to help others do the same.
My style is rooted in CrossFit principles, with a broad base of education including NASM CPT, CNC, CES, CrossFit L1, and USA Weightlifting L1. I believe fitness should serve your life—not the other way around. I coach through a blend of science, structure, and empathy. Because even if you train 7 days a week for an hour a day, that’s still only 4% of your week. What about the other 96%? That’s where coaching makes the difference.
Along the way, I’ve been deeply influenced by the writings and research of Tom Venuto, Sean Nalewanyj, and Dr. Jim Stoppani—whose realistic, no-nonsense, science-backed approaches helped shape my mindset around training, nutrition, and long-term sustainability. And Greg Glassman’s CrossFit methodology remains a guiding light, especially his emphasis on fueling in a way that “supports exercise but not body fat.” It’s simple. Powerful. And it works.
Helping clients become proud of what their bodies can do—and watching their confidence soar because of it—is the most rewarding work I’ve ever done.
Let’s build something strong. Inside and out.
